You can shop for groceries across the street at Byerly's, Whole Foods or the Super Target, or head over to Cub Foods on York, across from Southdale or Trader Joe's at 494 and FRance Ave. Every Thursday during the summer, you can walk over to the local Farmer's Market at Centennial Lakes from 3-7pm and stock up on locally grown organic vegetables, fruit and flowers for your apartment.

You can create a craft day at home with supplies from Blick Art Supplies across the street. Centennial Lakes Park offers paddle boating and miniature golf in the summer and ice skating in the winter. Chuck-E-Cheese offers games, entertainment and food for kids and is open year round at Centennial Lakes. The Edina Aquatic Center on Valley View Road has a fantastic outdoor water park for kids featuring a separate zero-depth-entry children's wading pool with water play equipment. Spend an entire day riding rollercoasters, ferris wheels and bumper cars at the Nickelodeon Theme Park in the Mall of America. Visit the world class Aquarium at the Mall of America and then take the kids to the World's Largest Indoor Water Park right next door. Cedars of Edina has a bus stop conveniently located right outside Club Cedars on Gallagher Drive. Take the 587 express bus straight Downtown Minneapolis or the 6 U of M line to Uptown, Downtown, The University of Minnesota or to transfer onto any other line.
