Feeling Thankful…
As we head into November we reflect on gratitude and things we are thankful for. One of the things that comes to mind is the beauty of our community here at Cedars. The grounds are beautiful year-round of course, but they especially come to life during autumn when the leaves of our many trees and plants shift into a rainbow of fall hues.
Have you taken a stroll by the pond and waterfall recently? The shades of gold, red, and green are absolutely stunning. Sit on the bench and enjoy the calming sound of the water falling as the fish swim below the surface of the water. It’s a great opportunity to take a deep breath and soak in the moment.
The trees of Birchwood Park are also reaching their peak, creating a golden hue that contrasts with the bright orange and red of the vines on the tennis court fence. The fire pits and sofas offer the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee, or to take a break after a long day.
Speaking of the tennis courts, the view may make it difficult to concentrate on your game! The red vines, golden birch trees, and towering evergreens come together in a scene worthy of a painting.
Sit and watch a tennis match, take a stroll through the grounds, stop by the pond and waterfall, enjoy an evening by the fire pit… there is so much to see and enjoy at Cedars, especially as fall rolls in, gifting us the most beautiful palette nature has to offer as we steadily make our way toward winter.
