That’s right, our lovely city of Edina has been deemed the number one suburb in the United States!

The article sites Edina’s walkability and easy access to the airport and downtown Minneapolis as features that influenced the ranking. The city’s multiple parks and walking trails, as well as Centennial Lakes, Aquatic Center, and quaint shopping options such as 50th & France, Galleria, and the newly remodeled Southdale Mall also played a part.

Minneapolis: Best city for retirement, and happiest city in America
Nearby Minneapolis was voted one of the best places to retire in the United States and deemed the happiest city in America. Factors taken into account include affordability, access to activities, quality of life, and access to quality health care.
With regards to retirement, Minneapolis was cited as having many elderly-friendly job options for retirees who wish to supplement their fixed income, and boasts a number of senior centers and nursing homes.
The ranking of Happiest Place in the U.S. came from The Institute for Quality of Life who loved the city’s outdoor amenities such as parks, lakes, gardens, golf courses, biking and walking paths.

But that’s not all… MSP Airport has once again taken the top spot for best airport when it comes to passenger satisfaction!
Those who travel frequently and pass through various airports know very well that not all airports are created equal.
