Edinborough Park
On those cool and wet spring days, head here for some indoor fun! Explore Adventure Peak – one of the largest indoor play structures in Minnesota! Let young ones release some energy with free play, schedule a birthday party, or enjoy the park’s entertainment series.

Braemar Arena and Field
Another great spot for days when outdoor fun is limited, enjoy the indoor ice rink and sports field in addition to the outdoor sports fields! The arena has several open skate and open hockey opportunities and offers skate rentals.

Centennial Lakes Park
Often referred to as the “Crown Jewel” of Edina parks. Spring will see a reawakening of the putting course, paddleboats, and lawn games as well as a revival of the Farmer’s Market (June 4th) and free outdoor entertainment. Centennial lakes also offers opportunities for fishing as it is a MN DNR designated Fishing in the Neighborhood pond.

Fred Richards Park
This beautiful park is just around the corner from Cedars of Edina. A former 43-acre golf course site, the park has already been outfitted with playground equipment and a picnic shelter. Ongoing improvements will include a central green with basketball courts, pickleball courts, lawn games, a stage and pavilion area, clubhouse renovation, landscaping, and walkways. Parking which will be accessed from W 77th St.
The park will also include wildlife and nature areas with play nodes, wildlife habitat structures, a boardwalk and walking trail through wetlands surrounded by native vegetation, trees, and shrubs. At the center of the park will be the Great Lawn with picnic pavilion, traditional and inclusive playgrounds, and a walking path around the perimeter that will include a pedestrian bridge.

Edina Senior Center
Located at 5280 Grandview Square, the Edina Senior Center provides recreational, educational, health and wellness programming. Day trips, Special Events, and other activities geared toward people age 55 and older are also available.
Special events include open skate, national ice cream month social, bingo, and day trips. Classes include driver safety, history, technology assistance, fitness, and health insurance counseling. The center also offers fun and games such as book clubs, pool tables, a puzzle lending library, card games, shuffleboard, ukelele club, and social groups.

Edina Art Center
Located at 4701 W 64th St, this community art center offers classes in ceramics, metals, fibers, drawing and painting that are geared toward all ages and abilities. The gallery space features free exhibitions and there is a gift shop on site offering work by local artists. Visiting the gallery is free, classes are available for a fee.

What – Celebrate earth day with this wildly popular event! Pre-event donations can be dropped off at the senior center April 13th–17th, 9am- 4pm or they can be brought directly to the event. Limit donations to 2 bags. Items left after the event will be donated to a local partner.

Princess Ball
Who – Ages 3-8
When – Friday, April 24th, 6:00-7:30pm
Where – Braemar Golf Course
What – Enjoy an enchanting evening that includes dinner, dancing, and princess fun! Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes. A photographer will be on site to take portraits.

Vehicle Day
Who – All Ages
When – Saturday May 2nd, 10am-12pm
Where – Valley View Middle School
What – Explore firetrucks, police cars, snowplows, buses, and more! Children must be under adult supervision. Event will be held rain or shine!
