Exhibit Grand Opening - Edina: From Farm to City

Join us for an evening of history as we celebrate the grand opening of our new permanent exhibit Edina: From Farm to City. Learn about the history of Edina's growth from a small farming community to a modern city and support the Edina Historical Society's mission of bringing history to the community. Refreshments will be served.

European Christmas Market
Weekends November 28th to December 21st (tree lighting December 6th)
Based on the European open air Christkindlmarkets like those in Germany and Austria, this is a free event where visitors can stroll through the market full of handcrafted goods and a selection of food. Santa, elves, and reindeer will be in attendance. Activities include a scavenger hunt and movie night.

Small Business Saturday & Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
November 29th - Tree lighting at 5pm
Celebrate the Season with a day full of local shopping, festive dining and holiday cheer! Stroll the decorated district and enjoy carriage rides, caroling and family fun at over 100 shops and restaurants.

Enjoy a trolley ride with Santa and toast some marshmallows over a fire! A collection for Toys for Tots will be on site. Cost is $5 per rider.

An Evening with Santa
November 29th – 5:30pm and 6:30pm departures
Enjoy an extra special trolley ride with Santa and listen to him read a Christmas story after which he will spend one-on-one time with each child in attendance. Each child will also receive a small gift from Santa. A collection for Toys for Tots will be on site. Cost is $15 per rider.

Edinborough Park hosts children’s entertainment on select Friday evenings in their amphitheater. Events are free to attend. The cost to play in the giant indoor playpark, Adventure Peak, is $10 per child.
